This place is amazing! We were on our way home to Las Vegas when we stopped for gas and my husband noticed the truck was leaking brake fluid. We drove to AAMCO because it was nearby and we found the most helpful group of people. We got a quote quickly and the price was better than expected. My truck was done quickly and the staff was accomadating and friendly for our two young boys. Having your brakes go out just before a long road trip home with your family can be a scenario, but we immediately knew we were in good hands at AAMCO.
Great service from start to finish. Im happy my car is working again. It was done when they said it would, the price was reasonable and the people were friendly. I will definitely return for future maintenance. Highly recommended!

Quality work and reasonable prices, along with a laid back staff who do not push repairs or items that are not necessary. As with any good shop just be prepared to wait for your quality repairs.
Brought my jeep to aamco to get the transmission rebuilt they did an amazing job got it running like new again. They also did my transfercase again always a great job always Profesional always calls to give me a heads up about my vehicle and I referred them to friends thanks again for all the help guys
I have an awesome 2003 Dakota. I took it to Mcpeek Dodge a while back on a noise I heard and they said they could not work on it due to an after market tow hitch. The noise got worse so I took it to Aamco on Katella ave. In Orange and when I 1st walked in Jordan was explaining something about automatic transmissions and I just thought to myself I could listen to him for a long time, so knowledgeable.
I told him about the clunk in my truck, I left the truck at 5 pm and he called me before 9am the next morning and told me I needed U-joints. He had to send them out as they were not the normal manufacturer issue. He did and had my truck fixed and ready before 5pm.
The price was right, he gave me a nice discount and I intend to give him a try on all future work on my 3 vehicles.

I have a Mercedes Benz and my transmission went out I took it into Jordan and he said that he would get right on it which he did come to find out it needed a complete rebuild total cost was $4300 quite expensive but he did an excellent job I would highly recommend Aamco Tommy
We brought our Ford F250 truck in for some repairs. They got it back the same day at an extremely reasonable price. They explained everything in detail and gave us suggestions. We are very satisfied by the work they did and when needed we'll plan to take our business to them again. I would defiantly give this shop 5 stars!!
Everyone at AAMCO was super helpful. They got me back on the road in no time no hassle at all. They also have amazing payment plans to fit any budget.
5 stars is an understatement! This location deserves way more credit, I had a horrible experience at a competitor business (Firestone *cough, cough*), they didn't test drive my car even though I asked them to. Insisting that it was fixed when it wasn't.
But at AAMCO Jeff really took care of me, giving me multiple updates when finding new problems with my car. He was readily available whenever I would call the shop.
One great thing is that he remembered my name right away, making me feel like a valued customer even though this is my first round about with this company.
The mechanics were also helpful, once I only had time to drop off my car right when they opened and Jeff wasn't in just yet but one of the mechanics even remembered me and said he would inform Jeff that I had stopped by and left the car.
Over all.... I'm staying with this company!!!!!

I am a proud owner of a 1969 lincoln Continental and a Do It Yourselfer, but when it comes to transmission issues I leave that up to the pros. I started experiencing issues with my transmission and took my car in for a diagnostic. My car turned out to have a carburador issue and I wasn't charged a dime since the diagnostic exam is free. Jeff's honesty has gained him new customer.

I made several calls today to other transmission repair places in LA and Orange County to get an understanding of what I should expect in terms of timing and cost for repairs to my wife's car. Unlike everyone else I spoke with, you didn't try to lure me with vague information and unrealistic expectations. AAMCO, you need to know exactly how your Orange location on Katella is being run, and that, is Flawlessly!! My first impression was with Prisma, who single handedly put my mind at ease with detailed communication on how the repair would go and what to expect. Her professionalism is amazing to say the least. She gave me a few options on when to drop it off should I go in for service on my 2019 Colorado LT. Within 48 hours, I had my truck running like new again! Unbelievable, it's just incredible to have a business still run like this these days. She is a HUGE asset to AAMCO, trust me. I will highly recommend this location to all my customers!!!

AAMCO on Katella has provided honest work and good communication, all for a very fair price. Prisma has kept me updated with full transparency throughout the two times Ive brought my car in for transmission work, and upheld the warranty on the parts that were replaced, as I know my car was being finicky with the valve body and shifting solenoids. They were very flexible with taking my car in and keeping it while I was back and forth in the middle of a huge move, but also ensured that it would be returned in safe and working condition. Thank you AAMCO Orange for your hard work! My car shifts smoothly now and Im reassured I can make this final 450mi trip with peace of mind. Prisma had also let me know that if anything further were to happen with my car to not hesitate to bring it back to them, and for all this I have a new trusted shop to bring my car to!
